Well this is of course where I diverge from many on this site. i tend to think that folk music is the natural province of the unworthy.

From Sam Larner to Leadbelly to Christy Moore, they weren't the type of character that gets invited to the BAFTA's or Buckingham Palace.

I think when the dull and worthy get involved - you're half way up shit creek, even if you don't realise it.
