I have been told by various sources that using a trampoline is easy on the joints when used for gentle bouncing rather than acrobatics.

I should be setting up my new purchase in the garden quite soon, so will be able to report back on the truth of this.

I wore some really good shock absorbing trainers for many years - I am light on shoes and having bought two pairs they lasted a very long time. When I paid lots of money to get a pair resoled it was like walking barefoot on concrete, so paying attention to the quality of your shoes and particularly the resilience of the soles might be something to think of in youth to middle age when one is rather more likely to be doing high impact things.

I bought those trainers just by chance, knowing that I was going to live for ever and never suffer from ill health or old age - just like everyone else in their early 20s.
