Going with any DSL provider is going to be more problematic than cable. I've been using broadband cable for as long as it was available- - something like ten years?--and have had no major problems with it. WHen there was a setrvice glitch. ROadrunner got on it and put it right fast. Can't ask for more.

The throughput has been fast, and the service excellent.

Your mileage in the UK may vary considerably. One thign to consider is the lines are much newer.
