I agree- creepers are annoyances, but only at defined stops like traffic lights and roundabouts. In a queue caused by road works, say, it's much better to keep going slowly, even if this leaves a gap, as it reduces the slinky effect further back (where the traffic bunches, then thins, usually causing much longer delays). My old Transit van is great for this- being diesel and low- geared, in first it can toddle along at less than walking pace.

My pet pet hate is tailgaters.
