Taking up more than one parking space. It's almost always some kind of yuppie vehicle - and usually an SUV. I've seen a lot of cars parked straddling the line between parking spaces because their car is new, and they don't want anyone parking next to them and possibly scratching their new car. I wonder if there's a point where you finally say "OK, it's old now, and I don't care if it gets scratched, so I'll park correctly". Then there are the times when I get back to my car and find there's a car parked next to it so close that I can't get into mine. I have a really small Toyota with a manual shift on the floor, so getting in the passenger side is not an option. One time I managed to squeeze in to my car, and out of anger, slammed my car door into the offending SUV. (My car has plastic strips on the doors, so no damage was done to my car). Then I noticed that the entire side of the SUV was scratched - apparently, this wasn't the first time the owner had parked like that, and I wasn't the first person to react the same way.
