The list that started this thread is an inconsistent mix of musicians who had or handled firearms, and musicians who encountered total strangers with fire arms. No consclusion can be supported by such a body of mixed up data--it would be just as shockign if it was an inventory of golf players who had similar incidents, or firemen or Chihuahua breeders.
