Mary Humphries and Anahata also sometimes work as CHARM with Craig, Morgan, Robson. If you enjoy traditional songs and tunes its well worth seeing any combination of these.
On the front page of my new EFDSS mag there is a picture of Trio Threlfall, I enjoyed them at Whitby.
Maybe not a 'new act' but we enjoy Joan Gifford at Chippenham for her different slant on old songs, and humour.
Ceilidh bands; I don't know if festival organisers have booked Alberio or Peak Folk , but if you like dancing to a well played fiddle and live in the NW, they are well worth hearing.
