It does go to prove there are some really great bands around - some on this list do not quite deserve the word "new" but I have heard 90% of them and they are all worth listening to.

And we have missed off regular 'catters like Tom Bliss, and Hip Flask Andy (Duncan McFarlane)- both well worth a trip to hear.
