How'd the get caught. Did the little light keep going on-off-on-off?

(For the non-Catholics in the crowd, some confessionals were
rigged up with a switch so that when someone knelt down on the
kneeler inside, a little light signifying 'occupied' would
go on outside...and another in the priest's center cubicle to
indicate that there was a confesee waiting.)
