Empathy, sympathy and love.

Our old pussy cat, Shelley (tortoiseshell cat - US - calico cat - geddit ?) took very sick a week before her 20th birthday. It was hard - I was there with her in my arms as the vet put her to sleep, and my beloved and I crying our guts out.

We mourned her for three weeks, and then went to the Rescue. We came home with two kittens, Maisie, who is white and tortie, and Smutts who is tortie and white. She has a black 'blaze' on her face, hence her name.

Think a big hug, Amergin. You couldn't let a dear friend suffer.
