These lyrics keep goin round & round in my head since I started this thread-Yeah I know it's my own fault. Does anyone know which song they come from?

I learned this song in junior high school music class. I vaguely recall somebody posted it on another Mudcat thread and mentioning that it was a Blues song. It woulda been too much like right for my teacher to tell us students that that song was Blues. But maybe he didn't know. Teaching the Blues in American public schools in the early to mid 1960s? It never happened and still probably isn't happening today.

But that's a whole 'nuther story.
