Look at people's gig lists.Professional performers will probably be doing gigs on weekdays, and some of those weekdays will not be in the school holidays.School teacher folkies are the biggest enemies of professional folk music, as they can earn a living working at schools in term time, and do gigs at a very low rate of pay in their extensive holidays(I come from a large family of teachers, I know what's going on!)
