Went through this last year with our beloved yellow dog, Clancy. My vet sat on the floor and talked with me for a while. One of the the things that he said that will stick with me was that we have a contract with our animals to provide the best life possible for them and that part of that contract is to let them go when the quality of life is no longer there for them.
