I may be wrong but few of us in the States were aware of the Spinners as individuals. It was our loss. A couple of years ago I was introduced to Hughie Jones in Liverpool by Ken Lardner of Chantey Cabin and realized that I had missed out on a whole era of nautical singing.

As long as people remember, Cliff Hall isn't gone. That is the true mark of respect.
