The date of the "gathering" is the weekend of the 14th and 15th of October, although I expect people will want to arrive on the Friday night, which will be our music night. In Llanfair Caereinion (clicky thing earlier in this thread) the main musicians are Simon, who plays and sings blues, David and Jo who are fiddlers and Ian who plays electric and accoustic guitar. I play guitar and sing, being around during the folk revival, and Jim, my husband, plays bass. He likes folk/rock, but, if he has too much strong ale, reverts to his rock roots, and all hell breaks loose!!
Anyone is welcome, musicians and listeners. The Red Lion is not a large pub, but we all manage to squeeze into the lounge somehow. It's very cosy.
Eric, there are 2 numbers inthe thread for B&B, and places to sleep if money's a problem. What else had you got in mind? Contact me if you need any more help.
