Have just returned from 2 weeks in Cornwall to hear of this very sad news. I was lucky to know the Spinners for over 25 years and often travelled with them to gigs etc. Cliff was the most genuine person you could wish to meet. My last meeting with him was a few years ago before he went to Australia, to intoduce him to Linda, my bride to be. We had a lovely day with Cliff and although he couldn't make our wedding gave a wonderful limited edition print which we both treasure.

Rest in peace Cliff, you will never be forgotton.
