Actor Clive Hornby who played Jack Sugden has also died aged 63.

Clive played Jack in the tv show Emmerdale. He enjoyed success as a drummer with pop group The Dennisons in the 1960s. The band were played on the same bill as The Beatles at Liverpool's famous Cavern Club.
Clive appeared in various television productions including Gerry Anderson's Space 1999.
