So, I guess my basic question is "was there an actual way I could have broken through her "Sphere of Stupidity"(tm) without:
1)Stopping the song
2)Making her the star of her happy melodrama
3)Making the other passengers even more uncomfortable by making them having to spend several days testifying against me at my trial."
As tempting as #3 was, I don't think that "gross violation of artistic integrety" is a viable defense against murder charges.
