Anyone remember the episode from Star Trek when Kirk is kidnapped to breed with a local girl on a planet where death and illness was almost a thing of the past? If we all lived for 200 or so years the world population would increase at such a rate as to make the quality of life dreadful. Whilst I have no great desire to shuffle off this mortal coil just yet I really don't want to be scratching for an existence and the thought that I may have to work even longer than the 15 years I have left to retirement fills me with horror!
