I don't think it's necessarily correct to say he has a problem with powerful Jews. I think it's more correct to say he has a problem with powerful people - some of whom are Jews.

I agree that his references to the Protocols are problematic because of the kinds of people that sort of thing attracts. Perhaps some good can come out of that if he is able to persuade people like that to see things more the way he does, ie: to simply say "no" if people think anyone is trying to exert undue control, rather than to hate people and to behave violently.
