I much prefer London tap water to the bottled stuff. Quite a lot of the bottled stuff tastes vile!
London is a big place and I would imagine that the quality of the tap water will vary dramatically depending on the locality.
The most disgusting drink I have ever tasted was a glass of tap water in Beckenham, but that was back in the eighties, maybe things have improved since then.
