If you thought being from Sunnybrook Farm, Wonderland or Green Gables was bad... when I was young a new book by Helen Cresswell came out...
Being nicknamed 'Lizzie Dripping' was bad enough but my never-loving sister shortened it to 'Izzdrip'.
I was so glad when she emigrated, I only get called it once every 12 years now. And that's 12 years too soon.
