I know this is difficult subject especially for most men's sides.

I don't think it's about who is allowed to do what, nor should it be. I guess it's wrapped up in what I think, from a lot of reading and thinking, is a confused understanding of the history of Morris.

Morris is generally a public event and as Ed has said sides are invited so that a wide sample of dances etc. can be enjoyed with the one simple exclusion.

I am a bit worried about the train set analogy because it belittles a great spectacle but in the end..........................?
