I can't even imagine that anyone here was thinking, "Poor Paris, McClain exploited her". I'd be a little surprised if Paris even took it seriously at that level herself. It didn't take a genius to script this, but it's as funny as it is because it's precisely the parody that McCain's half-baked ad was begging for.
