Peta is trying to foist their religion, veganism, on the world in the guise of concern for animals.

They are just as much religious fanatics as the radical Islamists who want the world under Sharia Law or the
far-right Christian Fundamentalists who want the world governed by the Ten Commandments - their interpretation, of course.

In their minds, the end justifies the means.

Why is everyone so surprised when they do something like this?
