Some books I have started and never finished because they were boring:

Great Expectations
Confessional of the Black Penitents
Awful Confessions of Maria Monk
Tropic of Capricorn

There are a large number I never finished because they were (also) silly and/or inaccurate.

But "Ulysses" is not on any such list.
