Well in Flanders and Swanns swipe at the rest of the world (nearly!)
"The English are Best"
The Irish verse is as follows.

The Irishman now our contempt is beneath
He sleeps in his boots and he lies in his teeth
He blows up policeman, or so I have heard
And blames it on Cromwell and William The Third

(written long before the "troubles" in case anyone is offended!)

They are just as insulting to most other countries in Europe.

So, all together now....

The English The English The English are best
I wouldn't give tuppence for all of the rest
