I first learned this song in Mohegan Colony Day Camp where I grew up during the summers. It was taught by Tom Mannoff - who taught all the music for campers each summer.We learned songs that meant something - I thought that was the purpose of songs.I was just a little kid but I remembered most of the lyrics - just not in order.
