I agree the older stuff has some overproduction, but I am so glad to have a recording of "Joy of my Heart" finally. It is the loveliest song about home I have ever heard.

I picked up the CD this weekend after finding out here it existed.

Shepherd's Song is melancholy but is quite evocative.

Thanks for the heads up. The only time I heard ArchieFisher live was decades ago, with Garnet Rodgers at the good ol' OTSFM in Chicago. They had a good time with "Night Visiting Song" -- Garnet's standard joke about the speed bump.
