Heh!

Well, now I have another problem. I had to replace an old computer with a new model today. For one thing, the old one's motherboard went on the fritz. For another, it was five years old. Time for a replacement.

So...I have the new computer here, it works great...but I get no sound from the speakers. The sound works fine in the headphones, however. The computer appears to know that the speakers are there, they are not muted, but no sound comes out of them.

Well, I'll take another look at this puzzle tomorrow, I guess. In the meantime the headphones are serving well.
