Well I was a bit late getting there as I had to work in the morning so I missed Angie Wright who it seems did a very good set.
Her song " Layla" about subjugation of women in Kabul inspired by a chacter in the book " the Book seller of Kabul" proved very interesting as did "Cry of the World" a song about global warming and mans denial of the effect and whose fault it is!
Still I got a copy of her CD signed of course.
Loved Andi Neate who sang with Inge great Harmonies, Inge did a solo set later in the day ,lovely voice.
Upset that Bob Davdson was too ill to appear . Big pity as he is a great entertainer with his very funny songs. He also writes a good play.
In my humble opinion Best was Ciaran Dorris. A very powerful performance.Again got a copy of his CD. His tale of Nashville and The song " Amy Rigbys Shoe" in particular was superb.

Lots of others to many to mention in what would just be a list made for a great day.
I enjoyed the day in fine weather as promised and have my diary marked for the next one in 2009. It on Saturday Sept 5th. So see you there.
