(The raunchy district in Boston -- pornographic movies & the like -- succumbed some years ago to political pressure from the city and economic pressure from the expansion of Chinatown.)

Farewell, O street of sleaze,
For even sleaze must pass!
Rebuild, O virtuous Chinese,
That true blue Boston, Mass.,

Where men still had their powers,
And women used their wits;
And "topless" went with towers,
And "bottomless", with pits.
