Gosh, I miss you folks!

Been a while, hasn't it?

The local Museum has asked me to do a gig for our upcoming "Apple Festival" here in Monmouth (we moved up here from Yarmouth a couple of years ago) on the 27th, featuring music of the 19th Century. I'll try to work a few chantys in there in honor of the occasion.

They want me to appear in full Civil War Infantry regalia as we have in the past - apparently the folks get a kick out of that and it's become a bit of a tradition as another reenactor did it before I got here. Unfortunately he got cancer about a year ago and was taken, so I guess I got drafted to fill in.

Sunday following I've committed to helping out at our Sporting Club's "Field Day" public open-house. Big weekend!

Do you know of any folkies or small amature groups up this way - sort of between Lewiston and Augusta - who might be open to session or jam on occasion? I'm getting really rusty and want to get back into it.

Have a ball one and all at Portsmouth!
