Ya know, yesterday, Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, said this investigation had been buried by the Republicans. Tonight, she retracted that statement, quoting an official in Alaska who said it WILL continue and there will be a report by Oct. 10th. She also pointed out that the special investigator already has access to a bunch of statements by the people who are now refusing to testify. Apparently, the Attorney General's office did its own investigation and has deposed a bunch of them. Those depositions are available to the special investigator, so he may not need any of them (the Subpoena-Refusers) in order to file his report.
