I spent most of the day preparing for the rain and wind that has begun moving through our area. I harvested the Rattlesnake beans for drying (and forgot the Scarlet Runners), shucked the multicolored flour and meal corn varieties and hung them to dry.

Carried in most of the tomatoes, weeded weeded weeded, brought in anise hyssop and lemon balm (melissa) to pick the leaves for winter tea, Covered the Garden Peach and Black Cherry tomatoes to keep them dry and ripening.

And I slept for two whole hours.
