It's hard to call something very offensive when it is barely comprehended outside of certain groups.... even other Aussies are confused.

But I just had a thought.... even though I'm not a religious guy, I remember certain Bible verses, and this one from Romans 14:14 popped into my head:

"I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean."

I also like the old saying "It all depends on whose Ox is being gored"
