Subject: RE: BS: October Seasonal de-clutter BIG push
Maeve, I love tools as well. But I have to ask myself how many pairs of pliers , spanners, socket sets, drill bits etc I actually need! I too have a chainsaw, but so far have got other people to use it as I am scared to! My chimney brush head is redundant, as I have a 5" flue pipe now attached to the stove, but the poles are still drain rodders, so I'll keep them. I need to get myself a ratchet pruner for getting at high branches.
The thing that is rattling me just now is that I have mislaid my new axe and my lump hammer. Given the amount of clutter in the garage and the shed, I hope they'll turn up once I start to clear out. We already chucked a skip-full out of the garage last year, but there's all sorts that could go.

Incidentally, after de-cluttering the garden area down the side of the garage, last week, I discovered that there was hardly any putty holding the glass into the window frame - couldn't get close enough before!
