Two gig bags I don't use -- guitar and banjo -- went to the silent auction at the Getaway -- and sold, hooray! Unfortunately, I couldn't resist an enamelled steel cup with the Pusser's Rum trademark on it ... but that can go in the camping box.

Dratted Bill the tomcat pissed on the new rug in the study that Edmund just sent from Afghanistan. It's a good thing I just learned about a carpet-cleaning company that specializes in Orientals, but I really resent the expense. That cat is *so* lucky he's cute; he'd make a really terrific hat, and winter is coming.
