Exactly, Sorcha--I had lots of my Dad's files to go through, and the staples will eventually take out a shredder if you don't tear that corner off of the pages first. I think I got the last batch of his stuff earlier in the summer, but I did find a couple of estate administrator checkbooks recently.

I've made a list of things to do that don't cost any money, and I'll see how far I can get down that list over this weekend. It's a personal challenge.
