Ride that wave! We've all been there at one time or another, but it is the sort of impulse that, like someone-or-other said, we usually "sit back until it passes."

Good work, all, with the autumn momentum.

My truck hasn't looked this shiny and pretty in a long time and it is now clean inside and out.

I've begun scrubbing in the kitchen and I have some papers to file or shred in the corner filing cabinet (the bills get filed there, and this is the paperwork I would grab if I have to rescue stuff in the house in a hurry). While I work I'll watch one of my NetFlix films and have it ready to go back on Tuesday. I need to do a faster turnaround on those to make it pay for itself better.

I'm thinking about painting my kitchen cabinets. There is a lot of custom woodwork in the house, and these match the cabinets in the bathrooms and living room. These get the most use and the finish shows it. If I freshen up the look with white enamel, the rest won't suffer (these cabinets do meet the wainscotting in one corner, and that and the living room walls are all a sort of pecan colored varnished wood). I could even paint the wainscotting in the dining area, I suppose. Hmmm.
