Well, that's it. The front room carpet is finished and cleaner. I won't say it's totally clean because it's a dark green carpet that gets a lot of wear, but it's better than it was. Plus it's fluffier.

Now I have my own carpet washer, it will get done at annually again, if not more often. Manitas is eyeing up the washer for using in the bathroom (it does carpet and hard floors) and the bathroom is in need of a little sprucing.

I still have a lot of sorting to do but it's ovbious that a lot has been done. Now if only I could get my act together today and do it, but I've strained a muscle in my back and bending isn't helping. Probably neither was vacuuming and washing the carpet over three days, but there we go... it had to happen. Today is resting day.

I'm trying to reduce my sewing stuff downstairs to one big box; stuff I'm actually working on, stuff I need to work on and the recent magazines. I think the one from 2005 can come up here to join the other back issues. Which probably indicates how long ago it was that I sorted the magazine rack....
