Tomato juice is one home remedy. I'm also finding that people have used Downy fabric softener, mint toothpaste, Scope mouthwash, Skin So Soft, but I don't know if they work really work or just mask smell. I've knocked the smell down by a couple of levels of magnitude, but we have several to go. And of course it is on both dogs, though not as bad on the catahoula.

I can only imagine what my pickup smells like with them sleeping in the garage. So much for having it clean and shiny, if it smells like a skunk I've lost ground.

I'm waiting on a call from the vet with suggestions for smell removal, and I'll ask if I need any eye ointment. Her eyes must be smarting, there is a little discharge.
