Agreed Fred, 'Freedom' is one fantastically amazing brilliant song. One of the all time international greats, IMO. And I'm Irish.

Lallans tho is lowland Scots and HH came from Perth (via a Highland childhood, with some Gaelic). It's not Lallans, it's just a sort of generalised 'broad Scots', an attempt (very successful) to use and record some old Scots words before they faded away.
