Fantastic in concept maybe... but as there are so many dances all on the same night,and at the same time, the pool of punters to buy tickets for each individual dance is drastically diluted ... eg Godalming Borough Hall ceilidhs normally attract people from a very wide area ... but a lot of the regulars will be going to something much more local to them, I suspect. SO it may be good in theory, but I wonder if it will actually be good in practice?? Did anyone actually think that one through?
