In my humble opinion, and I've never owned one, but played many, the Yamaha FG180 was/is the best mass-produced low-budget guitar ever made.
They are all playable,good-quality instruments. Never heard or played a bad one. I own & play Martins for preference, but a good, and they usually are, Yamaha FG180 is an excellent musical instrument.
