Thread Name: ADD: Bread and Gravy
Subject: Lyr Add: BREAD AND GRAVY
My grandfather and family sing that song but it is a bit Different. I also have on tape a version by Grant Rogers But it is still different it goes I've traveled this wide world all over ect. The version that now absent my grandfather unfortunately is as follows:

BREAD AND GRAVY

I've traveled this country all over,
And been to the best of hotels,
Some were good some were bad some were lousy
And some were the best that they had,
Now the last place I stopped was a Lou Lou,
So quite so clean and so neat,
But you'll wonder why I am alive today,
When I tell you what they gave us to eat…

On Monday was bread and gravy,
On Tuesday was gravy and bread,
And on Wednesday and Thursday
Was gravy and toast which is nothing gravy and bread

So on Friday I went to the landlord,
And asked for a bit of a change,
So on Saturday morning by way of a change…
We had gravy without any bread

That is all I have if anyone has put it to chords and music or has anymore lyrics please let me know.
