At garage sales on Friday I picked up two kitchen gadgets. I found a stainless steel sieve that fits over the sink top and a stainless steel colander to replace my two now--one plastic, one rickety aluminum. The sieve was a bit stained and looked used, but after taking the green no-scratch scrubber to it it is polished and looks like new. Neither had any dents and they both cleaned up to look like new. Here they are.

It's time to put the furnishings back in the front room now that the cat pee smell seems to be gone. I'll put something over that corner so the cats can't reach it to re-mark it. That will help clear out the front hall.

It's also time to go report back to the "Thrifty Fun" folks about how well my skunk stink removal operation has gone. They were lifesavers so I think payback by reporting back is useful.
