Thanks, gals! Great ideas for a novel, but this year I've got one in mind which is percolating in my brain. I never know until I actually sit down and do it, so who knows? It may very well be about all of us and decluttering. It's a lovely idea, regardless and I don't have to write a novel only in November, though I do work better with a deadline like that! It also allows me to fire my inner editor and just go for it. I am really happy with the way the first one, Prairie Child, turned out AND some readers' reviews of the ms. I plan to have it published by Jan. or Feb of next year, provided I can figure out all the formatting issues and putting it into pdf!

we bought a box of tomatoes this morning and have five layers in the dehydrator right now. Rog peeled all of the overripe ones and is cooking them for whatever kind of sauce he will make of them. I have swept, yes I have swept the house and picked up some small bits here and there, detritus from the past week. Also have been doing laundry about every other day. Rog will slice up the rest of the tomatoes and I will put them on to dry out tomorrow morning. It takes about 6-7 hours for each batch, so I don't like to start them too late in the day.

Maggie, decluttering the GOP. I like that!!!**bg**
