The "pub" trivia quiz is run by the Gaelic League of Detroit and it is held the 3rd Sunday of the month. There are teams (usually club members & guests) of 4 or 5 players, and we get from 10 to 12 teams, altho we've had up to 18 teams some months. The quizmasters ask 100 general knowledge questions, ten rounds of ten questions each, altho there are usually a few specifically Irish questions thrown in. One round is always "the dreaded picture round" where you have to identify celebrities from a photo cut from a magazine.

It's really a whole lot of fun. Our team has been together for about 5 years. And there are several friendly rivalries among the teams. But it's all in good fun.
