Oh, my! Snow flurries!

I will do the same thing with some of my oregano, pick it, give it a quick rinse and pat dry, then hang it up in bunches to dry. I have some garlic hanging from a door knob over my dryer now. I need to set up a peg board somewhere to put these various things--the laundry room isn't the best place (it isn't very big).

I love the idea of all of that produce in the cellar.

There was a great interview on Terry Gross' Fresh Air today with a fellow who advocates getting away from oil based fertilizers, back to a sun based garden, and putting veggies in the front yard. I've been shifting to that more all of the time, leaving the back for the dogs, but even back there I'm putting in a garden again next year. I have to figure out how to keep the dogs out, but that will be the easiest place to do my gray water experiments.
